Congratulations Becca! On your way to Notre Dame!
It seems like “Frozen” is very popular these days. So, when I had a request to make Olaf for a birthday party, I figured I’d give it a try! Here’s how I made them! (while singing… “Do you want to build a snowman?”…which I totally cant get out of my head!)
To make Olaf, first I took the cake balls from the freezer and thawed them. Then I shaped them into the form of Olaf’s head. I gathered all my supplies, including orange chocolate candy covered sunflower seeds, candy eyes, white candy melts, and black licorice cut into strips for his head.
After I melted the white chocolate, I dipped the cake form into it and before it dried, put the eyes, hair (licorice), and nose in place. I Let that all set and when hardened, I drew on the mouth and later, the teeth!
I Think he is sooo cute! Good luck to anyone who gives it a try!
